AFD heads

Anybody using AFD (Airflow Dynamics) Cleveland cylinder heads from Australia? Was wondering how quick they are about getting orders shipped out to the USA.

Re: AFD heads

I have a set of AFD 4v heads on my cleveland, and i got them from Steven Peterson Performance Fords. He regularly stocks them, has some ties in Aus., and he's in Penn. He actually built my engine too. Here's the link Steven Peterson Performance Fords .

Re: AFD heads

Seefour, I don't have the car together yet actually. I have '70 Mach I that i plan on giving the Trans-Am treatment to. I should be able to run it on pump gas, it has an all roller valve-train, 11.5:1, and a high rise single plane intake manifold made in Aus. I'm serving in Iraq right now and will probably be finishing the car when i get back to the States.

Re: AFD heads

I run the 2Vs but am in Australia. If you are going to get the 4V's, get them direct from Dave at AFD in Australia if you can. I know he recently bought out some updated versions which apparently is a good improvemenet again over the previous ones.

Re: AFD heads

I ordered the SP4V-S heads. They arrived this past Monday. The quality is absolutely "superb". To make an anology they are akin to a "flawless" diamond. Can't wait to get my car back together, but I still have a few things to do yet.
