holly carb instalation help for a brit!

i just purchased a 750cfm holley 4160 carb for my 68 tbird 429 thunderjet , only porob i have is A: instalation cd is broken so cannot watch it
B: i haved 2 fuel inlets on the carb and only one fuel line from the car?! it seems that i need some sort of connectors to connect the fuel line to the carb and i cannot get one - its imperial and here in the uk we use metric so the thread is different.
C: not sure if my original mechanical fuel pump is man enough

main problem is the fuel line - how to get it to connect up???? what can i do, a local chap says i have to purchase special 'holley' fuel lines and pump and that im looking at spending 300 pounds (600 dollars)

any help please ive been without a car fot 2 months now and im getting bored lol

You only need spend about £8 quid to get the correct fuel line adaptor...

HiPoParts Garage -

As far as mounting it you only need bolt it down adjusting it is another story for another person. Linkage kits can be found on that website as well.

You should be able to purchase a fuel line like this from summit racing or others for about 40.00 to 50.00 dollars.

40 BUCKS!!!! ARE YOU CRAZY???????

That 11 inch piece of chrome plated copper costs less than a buck to make... , and they sell them on the above website I put in for $12 and $14 bucks!

Why would you pay $40 bucks for something you can get for $12, especially when they all are made by the same 3 political refugees in China...

This would be a worthwhile read BEFORE you buy a dual feed line. Addresses what you'd get for $15. This part has always been a headache, so I researched it and wrote an entire article on the subject.

Re: holly carb instalation help for a brit!

I call it BS, you call a decent FLARE JOB worth ANOTHER $30???

The writeup on the Do it yourself is pretty good, and I agree that you get what you pay for, but remember, it's a length of tube..... 11" of tube is NOT worth $40 damn bucks...
