429 CJ or not?????

Hi I need some help.

I have a 429 CJ or what I think is one that I am looking at selling. It was rebuilt about 14000 miles ago and runs like a top. Some people are questioning if it a true CJ besides what the air cleaner has to say. Here are the casting numbers.

Block DOVE A
Heads DOVE C
Intake DOVE 9425 B

Pistons are Flat tops with double eye brows is what one guy said.

Can any one help????

Yep, regular 4 barrel 429 ThunderJet. If it was a CJ, it would have "D00E-R" casting numbers on the heads. The D0VE block can be the same as a 429 CJ or a 429 ThunderJet, both will have 2 bolt mains, but if it was a 429 SCJ block, it will have 4 bolt mains.
D0VE 9425 B is a standard 429 TJ intake as well.
The 429 TJ motor is still a very good unit, it was quite powerful and rated at 360 horses. You have the early model high compression engine.
