Yes Paul, it
was. Those were my iron MR heads with FailPros, replaced by Shelby's aluminums with Victors. There are no leaks other than the problem now.
Thanks for the check ball education. Is the check ball for the PV in the passage in the metering block? I can't recall seeing one but the carbs now have the "anti backfire" PV,s.
Knowing Phil, he probably accidentally dropped one of the balls and chucked the other figuring I'd never know the difference.

Any confirmation of the galley plug idea now that it's visible? It's really looking like I just gotta get in there and R&R them.
