427 ina 69 fairlane possible from factory?

Found an add in the local trader. Up for auction on Tuesday the 21st is what they call a 1969 cobra with a 427. I remember seeing these badges when I was a kid- is it possible from the factory or is this a transplant?

I never say never, but I'd say 99.999999% it's not factory and is a transplant. I'd make sure it's actually a 427, too.

I would agree. If memory serves me correctly, 67 was the last year for the 427.

Yeah, no 427's in 1969

Early 68 was the last year. 69 may have been a dealer.

Like you guys have said no 427 in 69 but my Ford factory Fairlane owners manaul lists a 427 as an option. I have seen many 428 in 69 Fairlanes.
