The aluminum thing might be nice for a while.

Never seen a 9" like that, but maybe because of the cover I didn't recognize it as a 9"!!!

Mitch, if you dont like my "chrome the whole thing" idea try this:
measure the diameter of the diff housing, then go to the local Sears kitchen department and get a stainless steel pot the same diameter, cut it down so that it fits the differential and epoxy it on, that way it wont leak. Oh yeah you can buff it to a chrome like appearance.

I have seen them advertised in US hotrod magazines years ago. Not these aluminum ones.
They were chrome plated and clipped on over the existing 9" housing.
