New Mcleod 5 speed trans

Not much info but looks interesting..Maybe a tough affordable overdrive trans that is easy to install?

Looks very nice! Wonder why it has the early front pattern for the bell?

Is it the early pattern or a T-5 pattern?

Re: New Mcleod 5 speed trans

I see a bunch of plates on the front, between the trans and the bell. I was looking at the front of the trans itself.

How "affordable" do you think it will be?

Re: New Mcleod 5 speed trans

Looks like a great product. The idea of direct replacement with no floor cutting and no fighting driveshaft angles is refreshing.

The pics are confusing. The bare case and top cover look to be stock t5 stuff. Then the complet gearset is strait cut while the two piece cluster shown is helical cut.

I am assuming they are showing gears and parts for different applications..It says "hot street" and "street/strip" type cars so hopefully there are some different options available...It even says they are building a toploader....As someone who has been looking at overdrive options I can't wait to hear more details...
