Vacuum modulator adjustment

When adjusting the push in type vacumm modulator on a C4 whats the RPM change per turn, just rough numbers or a best guess. Its a real pain get under there to adjust it so I'd like to get it close the first time then right on the second, not closer, closer, closer, closer, almost there, and got it.
