slips in second gear ????
I have just rebuilt my first tranny.c4 it is in a 79 ford truck.Tranny would not pull in forward gears when i bought it but had reverse. so i pulled it down and the foward clutch pack was burnt up . finished rebuild and now i have first gear strong ,slips in second,and third is fine,i also have reverse. so what is wrong please help???

The problem is most likely with the intermediate servo or front band.Start with a band adjustment.
