vacuum modulator valve

when my c-4 shifts into 2nd gear it slips . There was trans fluid in the line going to the vacuum modulator. I was wondering if i just need a new vacuum modulator valve or if it is a bigger problem.

vacuum modulator valve

If there is oil in the vac line the modulator needs replacing.

how will the tranny act with no vacuum and no pin to the vac. modulator
