2.75 low gear planetaries
What are the strength limitations on a set of planetatries like this? How much strength are you giving up vs. the stock 2.46 set up?

TCI sells a 2.75 geared planet set that sure sounds useful in my little trail truck with big tires.


Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, great site. I e-mailed Jay and he knows of a 600HP drag car using a set for all those wondering the same thing.

Pro Trans has close to 40 different 1st gear ratios ranging from 2.03:1-2.89:1 and the gear sets are sll NEW straight cut gears which are much stronger. All custom made and can all handle over 1200hp[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_tup.gif[/img]
