Aftermarket input shafts?

Built a C4 for a friend--now he tells me he has an early 24 spline converter . Is there an aftermarket input shaft that will allow him to use the early converter in the late transmission? I hate to have to hunt for an early pump stator, high and forward drums just to accomodate the converter and sacrifice strength. Mid 80/s Mustang, hot 351 and a lot of spray. Thanks for your inputs.

Don't bother.
It isn't worth the hassle.

Your friend now needs a new converter. Don't go backwards.

assuming its a high dollar converter & worth it, have it cut & the correct turbine hub put into it. might cost 200-300 dollars. also have internals checked out and stall adjustment made, if needed. as long as its open.
