Lost just 2nd?

Took the 66 to the track. Had a blast.
Was making one last pass and lost 2nd gear.
Seems to just stay in 1st. All other gears are fine.
3rd 1st and reverse all work.
I am thinking i broke the band?

ya what i figured.. lol dang.. now how do i make a stronger one?
The one i had in ther was kevlar lined...
do you weld them to make them stronger?
