C4 on a 400/351M?

I asked this a number of years ago, and the answer was no. Since then, has anyone made an adaptor to put a C4 behind the 400/351M?? Thanks.

Umm,you can get a factory bellhousing to suit. That's where the BB bells come from the 400's

Gregaust, I think I'm mis-understanding this. I was asking about putting a C4 behind a 400M. You say there's a factory bellhousing for this?

You got the wrong info for sure. Find them in 351M equipped big Fords in the 78 time frame. I retrieved one out of a t-bird with a 351M. IIRC, look for an "X" trans code on the door plate. I believe that is the C4 code.

C4 on a 400/351M?

Okay, I read 64TBOLT2's link which was quite helpful. But...I'm not going to be able to use my nicely built "case fill" tranny, am I? A case fill was never used on the 400/351M ??

</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE>That is correct. All the factory big block bells are for pan fill only.

The aftermarket does offer case fill bells for big blocks.
