Protrans is in Lancaster California,no website. What pic are you using? No one really came up with a good option for #3 though i think someone said a T400 bearing was good. #10 is not critical but if you want it is the bearing that sits in the back side of the fwd drum where the planet sits.

Why remove the #5.Isn't that the one inside planet gear?

Yes, #5 is already a roller thrust, #10 is unnecessary to change becaust it never sees any thrust load and #1 never gets loaded either and it is one of the selective fit washers used to set the clearance on the others.
If you replace #s 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 you have replaced all the bearings that are loaded under torque loads of the tranny. Those six are the only ones that take any thrust and the ones that I used to replace when I was building trannys for over 600 HP. I had two that I built for 1000 hp engines and never had any thrust related problems. I a some trouble getting bands to work though - That is when I began seating rigid bands on the bench. It takes a lot of time but it works wonders for high hp trannys on the drag strip.
