Reverse clutch pack?

I confused as to what the disc spring is in the reveres high clutch pack.

No disc spring in there.Maybe they mean snap ring??????

Reverse clutch pack?

In some trans' they have a thin steel that has several "kinks" in it. It isn't flat but when the pressure is applied to the pack it flattens out and is "sandwiched" between two steels (usually). They are used to soften the shift.
I think that this is what they are referring to...though I have never seen one on a C4....fairly common on GM stuff though.

I did have a C5 that had the wave steel in it.Always leave them out in this case.
