I have no clue.... never knew it was necessary...

maybe measure between the bolts... Center to center of course..

What is this for?

Whatever way shows 10.5" and 11+7/16". I think it is diagonally.

Ooooohhhh you mean the bolt pattern being the distance across the flex plate's bolts in order to determine which torque convertor fit's it?

I second diagonally... unless you measure yours and find out it's straight across...

thanks again, the reason im asking is my c4 in my truck is shot, and yesterday i bought a rebuilt one with out the converter. when i take it out i will make sure they are the same spline. hopefully they will be so i dont have to buy a converter. i was just making sure how to measure it if i did need to buy a converter.

Sweet Ride!

If the shaft is the same or diffrent it shouldn't matter if you have your old one you canswap it can't you? I know that c-4 center shaft pops right out into your hand if you tug hard enough... Match the shaft to the convertor.

Just be careful if you reuse the old converter .If the old trans failed bad or the oil is real bad it will contaminate you rebuilt trans.
