Convert Green Dot to regular C4?

So, the differences between the "Green Dot" early trannies and the later c-4's have been discussed extensively on this board. Mainly, the difference is the valve bodies, right?

What I'm curious about though, is can a 1967 Green dot c-4 be converted to a later (say 68-69 C-4) by changing the valve body?

Yes it can ,just swap the valvebody and possibly shifter to suit.

If it is a 1967 it's not a "green dot " anyway. The '64-'66 C4 was a green dot and be converted to the better shift pattern by swapping in a '67-'69 valve body. See if your valve body has any identifing marks beginning with C7 or C8 or C9. If so it's not a green dot.
