C4 servo 'K', 'W', or 'Z' wanted

Looking for the small servos from 4 & 6 cylinder C4's to mod for testing with a high pressure valve body. Servo and piston pairs marked K, W, or Z are suitable. Dirt cheap is appropriate.

Thanks,
David

I would suggest hitting all the local tranny shops - my bet is they have a few that they will give you cheap.

Not likely to find them in most transmission shops any more. Those are all 60s and 70s servos and most shops nowadays do not even know what a C4 is and most shops that do have already dumped their C4 stuff to make room for what sells today.

I have K & Z for sure. Possibly W in one of the dozens of 6 cyl cores I have. Not sure what you mean by "dirt cheap" but here is a link to my prices:

Well, I'm wondering the shift timing with varying pressures in auto shift. I have used modded small servos in HP VB's of course, but using one in a low pressure tranny is an option I want to explore, if it doesn't change timing at different pressures.

Second, I (and others) have had issues with air entrapment in the modded servos with the blocked return, making the shift softer/slower until bled again. This would happen in a road racer on hard corners in-spite of a deep pan and pickup. So, I devised a couple one-way self-bleeding servo mods and have tested one type with success on a standard servo. Now it's time to try it on a modded one with no return at high pressure. Of course, I trashed the little ones I had figuring I'd never use them. Duh.

Yeah, no kidding. Just popping in for no reason, a couple shops each had "hang on, the old guy here might know what that is" and the other was "Ford C4... is that a diesel tranny?"
