Strange C-4 issue-

I ran in the new 351c wich has a new PA c-4 and Edge Converter. During the run-in there was no driveshaft in the transmission, just the yoke, so I could go through the gears after topping the transmission off. All went well and I later installed the driveshaft but the car didn't wanna move, It acted like it was in neutral, Sure enough It was 3/4 of a quart low on trans fluid. My question is, is that enough fluid to not let the trans operate considering that it has a deep pan in it ? Could they have forgotten to put the extended pick-up in the trans ?

3/4 of a quart would not usually cause a problem. - Are you filling and checking the level with the engine idling in park? That is the only way to fill it properly.

Yup, topped it off in park. I guess i shoulda checked it more times, All is fine now... didnt know they were so sensitive.
