Shuttle ball sizing in 69' VB

Can anyone tell me how different size shuttle balls will affect transmission operation? The two sizes I have are 4.88 mm and 5.53 mm (3/16 or 7/32 inch) Just wanted to check before I put things back together? Thanks

They should be the same size. You'll find they have worn down.

I never considered that they would wear down, thanks for the response.
