Convert C4 floor shift to column shift?

I found a nice rebuilt never used C4 locally out of a 66 Mustang that was a floor shift. I want to put it in my 66 Galaxie that's a column shift. I've read some info on those who have gone the other way, converting a column shift to floor shift, but I want to try and make the floor shift C4 to column shift. Anyone have any info, ideas, experience on this? I want to make sure it's feasible and within reason before I plunk down the $$ for it. Any info appreciated, thanks!

You only need to change the shift lever to the column shift lever.
