Finally!! Got the 10 sec slip!!

I now have an official 10 street car. Went back to Cedar falls IA. First pass off the trailer and it went 10.89@122!! Finally! I knew it would do it. Got in an open comp race for $20 and made it to the semis and won $30. Pulls the wheels real hard. Man is that fun! Then later on, after playing with the launch rpm, it went 10.83@123! I'll try and post a pic that the wife took and the timeslip.

Thanks! Best part is, it still has 10-1 compression and a very small hyd roller cam! I still drive it all over the place.

Re: Finally!! Got the 10 sec slip!!

Hey, good news! That's a set of good tickets.

If I correct my 7.29 from Friday to sea level based on this weekends 4200 DA, I get a 10.90 something. But that's just a math cheat LOL.

Great times, What is your suspension set up... Those 60" times look great for a leaf spring car.

It is actually a 4 link car, but it is all street leagal, with complete full interior with cd player. I put about 3000 miles on it this year. This motor, with the smaller headers, smaller carb, smaller intake, went 11.39 in my mach with leaf springs.
