Tony the new Cat is looking good. What are you expecting it to run? Stop by and say hey at Pinks, haven't seen ya since Prescott

Chris
I'll look you up. We are hoping to run between 9.50 and 9.70 in the 1/4. Went 6.23 @ 110 with a soft tune spinning the tires down track. Taking it out this weekend to play with the tune up.

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule

My son's best friend, Landon, died a week ago. He was only 24 years old and died in his sleep. He was building a mustang to bring to Pinks. My son, Alan and all of Landons friends (Daniel, Adam, Justin L, Justin W, Josh, Joel & Brian) worked long hours and put in their own money to get the car ready for tomorrow. And they did it!!! They are taking it to Pinks in Landons honor. Brian Beaton will be the Driver and plan to take it as far as he can. Afterwards, they will be bringing it back home to give to Landons parents. If you run accross them in the crowd or hear their names, give a pat on the back and an extra shout to these guys. They are truly devoted friends.
One proud mom

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule

Sadly, I think you'll find that the entry slots are all sold out for most of the events already. Try the listed track's web sites for updates. I realized I could get into the event in Tucson last year before just before Thanksgiving because they a screen crwal on the PINKs broadcast.

The event was fun even though they went with a 12.50 class surprising most of the people there. It was the biggest crowd anyone had ever seen at that track according to the locals. We had a big talkig with the folks we met there despite the long

I'd recommend it to anyone, just relaize that the odds of being one of the 16 or 32 or whaet ever they do aren't that good ad plan accordingly.

On the test and tune day we managed three passes. On the day of the event itself they called us by entry number, firsst come first served on that deal, fifty at a time. After round one they announced that people we're snad bagging to get to a high 10 sec. as that was the rumored sweet spot so they ran first round again. The reality of that seemed to be the throttle stop 10.90 and 9.90 and 8.90 cars obviously on the box. (I personally think all that crap should be banned) Any way we got two time slips as a result and then they ran the arm drop round where the timing shack was closed.

Three hours, two jet cars and a bunch of other stuff later, they announced the sixteen cars. A buddy of mine got into the "12.50" class even though he'd run a best of 12.62. I suspect the ET's ranged form 12.40 to 12.60 at least.

A group of four of us have entered the Infineon event (Sonoma, CA) and we've agredd to split any money any of us happen to get. Its still 4 in 450 odds of being picked.

Its a fun deal for the money. Good Luck and have fun.

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule

Forget about Norwalk, OH @ Summit Motorsport Raceway! When I received my 2008 race schedule in the mail, I called and was told all slots were full.

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule

My dad and I have always wanted to go to pinks all out with the blue and white mustang. It would have to be a mid 10 class for my dad Cahorne to even have a shot. IT would be a fun experiance
