If FM sponsors me, I'll say FM otherwise I'll thank my sponsors.

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule
Very excited about Pinks possibly being in Denver. Am definately going to give it a shot. My phone has been going crazy with people talking about running. They should have agood turnout up here. I think I might have to pick the car up abit to make the cut. The new engine has run a buncha 12.50's but I think high 11's might be needed to participate.

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule
Pinks All-Out in Atlanta??? I sure hope they do some decent track prep. Everyone I speak w/ that has raced at other tracks always says Atlanta Dragway sucks... I have no other experience at different tracks but my 60's sure do stink. Hey Vinyl66 you need to take your car!!!!! They sometimes pick 11-12 sec classes...

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule
So pinks, now is pinks all out, and they're not going to be running for titles anymore?

We need to put that Pinks date on our race calendar for next year. Most likely we wouldn't get picked but it would be great just to participate in it.

Nah, there is both a Pinks and a Pinks All Out.
Pinks is a race of 2 cars for pink slips.
Pinks All Out is a race of hundreds of cars which must first run time trials. Once it is all sorted out, 16 cars that run similar times compete for a $10,000 cash purse. Another $8K is injected into the competition to be used for betting. No one looses their cars in this competion.

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule
I figure the car should run 11.20~11.30 at SAR - probably not close enough to the 11s to stand a chance. We'll see how much the tickets are.

Re: PINKS 2008 schedule
Im signing up for Englishtowns Pinks All Out.Whos going to Englishtown?
Hopefully by July I will have the car going low 11s for Pinks All Out.
There are alot of 9 and 10 sec cars at Racewaypark .I doubt they will be picking an 11 sec class ,but you never know.It will be a good time anyway even if they pick a quicker class.
