how much HP can a lockright take?

Since we are on the subject of 8" rear ends, I would like to find out how much the lockright can take. I have one in an 8", with 4.11's running M&H cheaters, the car is a mustang2 with a 302, low to mid 12's runs great. My other car is a much heavier 68 torino with a 428. I run mid 12's with a mini spool, I just don't like that spool...lockright might be the answer but the 428 and Torino's weight make me think I may be throwing $$$ away,any one have one in a heavy high-torque set up?

Same kind of car I've got. I've got the powertrax no slip, a bit different than the lockright, though better IMHO. My car dynoed at 482 uncorrected hp to the tires. I never paid attention to the corrected numbers, I'd have to dig for the dyno sheets. Not a problem with the locker yet.

Thanks Matt, it has worked so well with my small block set up I wanted to try with my big car combo, I just hate to go to the trouble then BOOM!

I have a 68 Torino with a 460 running well into the 10's and Im still using the LockRite from Powertrax.
The 60 ft times are in the 1.42 range.
