new track time

I ran my best so far 11.17 @ 120.83 .I went from 4.11s to 4.86s. My car went through the traps at 7,800 .My 60ft didnt change (1.67) the car picked up from the 1/8 to the end,previous best was 11.43@117.

VERY nice improvement carnutt!!
That is very interesting that your 60 didn't pick up but you made such a great improvement through the 1/4.

I'll admit that I can be put into the "fear the gear" group.

Thanks.
My next step is to degree the cam and see where its at..I installed it straight up when I built the motor and never degreed it.I hope it is retarded a few degrees and that would explain the big increase in the topend.
My plan is to try and lower the powerband(advance the cam)go with4.56 gears and increase the stall speed.All will be done one change at a time to see how it improves and possibly go in the 10s.
