They have NOTHING to do with merge collectors. I have used these over the years, and I have dyno tested them too. Dont hold your breath, On a 700 HP engine, they MIGHT pickup 7 to 10 HP. What they do do, is increase the mid range torque, as much as 30 foot pounds(again , on a 700 HP engine) unless you get them almost for free, they are not worth the money.

Big Joe,what in your opinion would be the gain on a 1000hp engine?Also I would think 7-10hp in a N/A world,would be worthwhile?Maybe?
Just curious,I'm not has qualified as yourself.Any feed back would be very appreciated

Re: FLowmaster scavenger collectors 4-2-1

Im not a engine builder like BigJoe, but Iv run these on my car for some time and have seen a big difference in 1/4 mile and driveability. It could be just me but my 60 foot times seem to be more consistent and my MPH also. I do drive the car on the street from time to time and like BigJoe said I have noticed better mid range torque. I also seem to get a more even burn from cylinder to cylinder.

my 2 cents
Charlie
