Pinks all Out-Gainesville...We made the show.

Well, we made it into the Gainesville Pinks all out finial 16. But we have to apologize to all the Ford Fans... We got into the burnout box for our first televised run and had the number 8 intake valve fractured, pieces went into the intake and found their way into number 1 cylinder hammering the piston and bending the exhaust valve.

Sorry for not representing Ford better. We’ll be back with CHI heads.

Congratulations, that is really cool. Although I don't really care for the arm drop, I feel over all Pinks has been very good for our sport. You represented
us well by just being in in the finals.

I hate to see another drag strip close, and hope Pinks will help slow that trend.

Man that sucks!..Congrats on making it that far though..You've got a great looking car and I'm sure that's part of the reason why they picked it...I've never seen a valve break like that..Maybe because they normally get mangled in the carnage afterwards..Very wierd..

Thanks, That was an old manley pro-flow. The strange part was we discussed going through the heads before we went to pinks and talked ourselves out of it. Should have followed our gut.

Oh well, we've be quoting "Murphys Law is Alive and Well"!!!

You sir are a brave soul. I would never risk a car to drag racing thats judged by arm drops and eyeballing the winner. I'd never risk my car at all in fact. Well chi heads should give a better ass kicking, too bad I don't get speed

Carnage pictures, it already broke show some battle scars!

The pinks "all out" show is a competition for $10,000...You don't lose your car if you lose....Also they do still use the timing clocks to make sure nobody is running too quick for the selected group..

Congrats on making the field. Bummer about the valve.
I guess it is better to go with your gut feelings first..

That sucks about the valve, BUT congrats on making the field!!
Beautiful car too! Can't wait to see the show.

Tomorrow Pinks All Out is at my home track Atlanta Dragway. I won't be there though...

Re: Pinks all Out-Gainesville...We made the show.

Congrats on making it that far. Do you know how many other cars there were? I'm guessing more than a few. To make it that far is awesome. Sorry your wins were cut short.
My wife and I got tickets to Atlanta Dragway. They should be good seats. We're just watching but plan on being there all day on Saturday.
