Re: Any one us Brad Penn Racing oil ?

I know it has all the good additives to prevent camshaft wear if you have a flat tappet camshaft that requires additives such as zinc & phosphorus.

With a roller camshaft i would use a quality synthetic oil.

If brad penn oil is made from pennsylvania crude which is a quality base, but unless they have solved the sludging problem from the old pennsylvania oils i would do some more research to see if the horrendous sludgeing of the past has been resolved. Bill

Based on good experiences w/ some circle track engines, now using in all the engines I play with. So far so good.

I use Brad Penn 20/50 race oil in my car. Would never use anything else. I have been told that it is the "old" Kendall formula.

Brad Penn or Joe Gibbs oil. Same-same. Yes, old Kendall 'green' formula.

Be sure to buy what you need. much of the multi-grades are partial synthetic.

The 0w-30 is their break in oil for flat tappets, as I recall.

Penn Grade 1 High Performance Oil

I bought some 10-30 but I took it back to the speed shop and decided to stay with the Mobil 1 till I get more info on the oil, but I have not ruled it out because I like the price.
