347ci.

Here is my 347ci combo,,marine,,,
'68 302 block .030
Eagle stroker kit
KB Hyper 16cc reverse dome pistons
10:1 C.R.
600cfm Ebrock carb
Ford Motor sport RPM intake
'66 289 heads 51cc, ported, 1.84intake/1.54exh.
Engle cam .512lift 230dur.@.050 109LC
Crane roller rockers
Stock marine single point distributor(big mistake)
I ran this set up with the 600cfm Ebrock and a 780cfm Holly just to see what would happen...
First pull out of the box with the Ebrock made 379.8 lbs/torque@4000rpm and 339.6hp@5200rpm....We new we had a winner
Best pull with Ebrock was 386.2 lbs./torque@3800rpm and 346hp@5200rpm
Now it is Holly's turn:
First Holly pull: 403.8 lbs./torque and 359hp@5000rpm Not bad torque for a small block
next Holly pull:
399.1 lbs./torque@3900rpm and 362hp@5100rpm
We had point bounce problems and could not pull it past 5300rpm...I'm sure we would have made 25 to 30hp more if we could of spun it to 5800 to 6000rpm...
This would make a hell of a street car motor.
Here are the dyno sheets and a pic....

Glad you finally got them here Russ. They look good now.

Anyway, nice numbers. It would be cool to see how a 750 Edelbrock would have done against the Holley.

Congrats!

What heads did you use on that motor? Also the cam...and i assume it was naturally aspirated? Very nice numbers. I have similar combo and have been looking for some real world comparisons. My setup is this:

Shortblock
Scat 3.4" cast crank
Scat 5.4" 4340 rods
Compression is 10.5:1 with E7's and 11:1 with Canfields
4.030 J&E forged flat tops(5cc valve relief)
Total Seal Moly/Ductile Classic Race rings
Zero decked(squared to crank centerline)
O-ringed block
First cam(for use with the ported E7's) is a 280-288 .550" or so lift 110lsa solid flat tappet cam
Second cam(for use with the Canfield Heads)is a 280-288(248-256 @ .050) .646/.669 lift 112lsa solid roller cam

Top end
Home Ported E7's with 1.94/1.60's
Edelbrock Torker II single plane intake
600cfm Edelbrock

Later, with the solid roller cam I will be using a set of Canfields with a Victor Junior and a 670-750 Holley.

If you know of a similar combination to this and have any ideas on the output I would be glad to know =). I am hoping for 400hp or so on the E7's and 500+ on the Canfields.

Here is a up date:
Summer is almost over, I run the **** out of this little ford...How do I like the 347??? In a word....OUTSTANDING!!!!
From bone stock speed of 39mph to 56mph...Not quite my goal of 60mph,,but close..
I used 2L of oil all summer..The engine had some hard long runs at 4200 to 4500rpm,,,Top rpm was 4800to4900rpm (didn't run wot for more than a few minutes)
This is a hot combo....
Almost forgot,, I added a ignitorII ignition and stainless headers with mufflers and thru hull exhaust (sounds sweet)
