Based on my "Before" #'s, Guess my "After" #'s
For those of you running carbureted 5.0 engines, I'm looking for some dyno numbers, rearwheel or flywheel. I know it's impossible to guess an ET, but what about horsepower, torque, and RPM range estimates? What do you think MY engine will make?
Roller 302 block
F303 Camshaft on 1.6 arms(.512 lift)
9.5:1 compression hypereutectic pistons
Holley Aluminum Heads 2.02/1.60
Weiand Stealth high rise dual plane manifold
Holley 670cfm Street Avenger carb
Hooker Super Comp headers
BTW .. when it was first built, it was just on stock 66 iron exhaust manifolds, stock iron heads, cleaned up but stocksize valves, a crappy low rise dual plane intake, mis timed horribly, way too rich, and a horribly jetted 600cfm carb .. it made 200 rwhp and like 230 lb/ft @5000 ..
I have since fixed the timing by retarding it below "ping"ing, gotten it closer to 14:1 a/f, it was like 12:1, and installed the headers, it feels a LOT better. Will be adding the heads, intake, and new carb soon.
Anyone wanna bet I'll make 300 at the wheels .. 350 maybe? I hope so .. I think everything is pretty well matched for 1500-5500 torque and 3000-6500+ hp.. redline 6500 though, I'm runnin hypereutectics and cast internals
