Well I will try to keep it short and sweet.
I made 12 pulls. Worst is run #1 @ 328, this was to be expected, best was run #7 @ 344. Here is the run down.
1st 3 pulls were as driven in, jet sizes were 78 front, 88 back and 34* timing.
#1-332hp 312tq
#2-334hp 313tq
#3-335hp 312tq

Runs 4,5,6 we upped timing to 37*
#4-336hp 314tq
#5-335hp 314tq
#6-333hp 315tq

Runs 7,8,9 we changed the accelerator cam to the blue one and removed the air cleaner.
#7-344hp 324tq
#8-342hp 320tq
#9-339hp 316tq

Runs 10,11,12 we reinstalled the air cleaner
#10-342hp 322tq
#11-no info
#12-337hp 316tq

A coule notes of interest, torque peaked at around 4200 rpms on all runs, and only falls off buy about 15% to peak rpm, basicly it flat lines from 4200-6300.

We do not know where the HP peaked, because it was still going straight up untill I let off the gas pedal or it ran out of lifter, which was at around 6400 rpm. One other thing of interest the engine is making just shy (5hp) of 400HP at the flywheel.

I am feeling good.
shades are in order.

I would like to thank every one here at Ford Muscle.
Ron Feddema, Vernon Pitts, and the countless folks who I have talked to at the tracks where I have raced that were kind enough to share their knowledge.

BTW, for the local guys or those curious, I spent 2 hours on the dyno and got 12 pulls, it cost 142$, I suggest to the local folks to go to Toms Performance and machine, the tech`s there are friendly and knowledgeable, and they even fired up a 1008 HP twin turboed Corvette that was sitting in the shop, it was nasty.

I feel pretty good. It performed flawlessly. Makeing good power, the only dissappointment was that the lifters gave up before it quit makeing power, so I dont know what it truely has. I guess a solid lifter setup is in order. I think next year I will take the heads off go to head studs, make some inmprovements to the valve springs and seats and slap some solid lifters in it. Maybe.

Dragman, I was thinking the same thing, then picking up a ready made cam to fit the bill or haveing one custom ground, these are things out of my reach currently, but not impossible. If I break into the 11`s I will have more than accomplished what I set out to do with this thing, I should really start makeing it look good (paint and interior). I am so impressed with the numbers, they are just friken fantastic.

Giddyup as far as my engine combo, it is pretty straight forward.
89 GT mustang long block (used)
Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, some porting, all ports and bowls smoothed.
1.90 intake valve size
1.60 exhaust size
RPM intake
650 Speed Demon, 78`s front, 88`s back
JBA shorty`s, 2.5" exhaust, Dr. gas "X"
Windage tray
stock oil pump
serpentine w/ underdrive pullys
cam is middle of the road
.540 @.220 in.
.566 @.224 ex.
110 lobe seperation

Thank you for your intrest.
