You next engine combo sounds great. I always love checking out the more impressive 1000+ hp dynoes.

Keep us posted.

First off your motor dynoed LESS. You cam is a NA cam, put those lobes on my cam and you would feel even "since my grammer is no good" badder.

Its that simple. Good day mate.
</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE>

516 is greater than 440...ON THE MOTOR...so it is more, not less. Read what I wrote, not what you want it to say.

On the motor, all motor, no nitrous, nothing but pure power, my smaller motor whacks your bigger Windsor. If you were to add more camshaft, I contend that you wouldn't make that much more power, rather, it would only move the power band up in RPM. Basic power is obtained at "enough" duration and lift to accomplish the job. Once you have a camshaft with a certain amount of lift, you're putting your total peak power into play. How much duration you use, to some degree, only changes the amount of RPM needed to obtain peak power.

You keep going on about my "N/A lobes" like they're some kind of magic when in reality, they are baby lobes compared to hardcore N/A engines on most drag race combos. .700" lift is not a lot and 274* duration is definitely not a lot for a "high speed" camshaft in a N/A drag racing application. My off-the-shelf camshaft is nothing more than a "hot brackets" cam with about 10% of possible performance missing from the engine simply because it isn't custom ground to the application.

Like I said in my inital post of my combination, I'm not chasing maximum power. I don't use wanna be adders because I don't need them to run quick ETs. My 1/8th mile is 4.86 at 143.03 MPH, so your 6.18 on a 250 shot isn't impressive. Obviously, you're toting around a lot more mass, so it says something, but I think that you'll agree that a 1.32 difference in the eighth is a BIG difference. When you watch a car running out in front of you by over a second, you know that it is going to be tough ever coming up to speed with the crowd.

Good luck to you and your nawhsss combo. I hope that it serves you well and that someday you endeavor to be a N/A runner.

Only in your blank mind...on the track, where it actually matters (unless you're piloting your dyno down the track ), you didn't even SHOW UP ON THE RADAR!

I'd be back in my trailer by the time you got your time slip, Slow Windsor boy.

Ya, well I've been thinking of dropping some of my 3300lbs. I plan on welding two old fence post together then adding a fiberglass shell..... oh wait... thats your car.

Try not to show your ignorance too often...a chrome moly tube chassis NHRA certified to 6.00 with a hand-hammered aluminum body is hardly a pair of fence posts and a fiberglass shell...especially considering that there isn't even fiberglass in the hood scoop (carbon graphite) on this car!

My car is easy to see. What's up with your ride? How about some photos of this "massively powered" Windsor wanna be that sucks on the bottle like a homo on the end of a tube steak?

Uhhh, far be for me to intrude on such a wonferfully witty conversation between you two....but uhh umm yeah, well you see the thing is....the Cleveland's 516 is N/A FWTQ it made 608 FWHP and well if I read the other post correctly the 440 is umm well N/A RWHP so you guys are pretty much comparing length using 2 different measures...feel free to correct me if I made a mistake.

BTW - my Cleveland made 394 at the rear wheel N/A with under .6 lift and a low rise single plane intake. Given my drivetrain (AOD and 9 inch) everyone I have talked to 'estimates' (yeah I know what good that is) the FWHP to be 500 but my Rear torque was low at 355ft lbs. If we want to use that 20% loss figure that people seem to like, 608 and 516 would become 487 and 413 which is still higher than the very respectable numbers put down by the N/A fogged408

"Carbon fiber", you say? You need it with those numbers!

As far as pictures of my sweet ride, well considering that you have only made 24 post on Fordmuscle and 10 of those were for me, I'd say your just too new around here to have seen them. I'm flattered that you reply to me so much, I'm starting to think you have a school boy crush on me.

Try a search function for those pics, or were you going to ask me over for dinner?

And yes, my windsor is STILL making more power than yours.

Administrators, will you PLEASE lock or delete this thread and put an end to this childishness...

It reminds me of a couple 5 year olds saying, "My toy is better than your toy."

Grow up guys...

This has definitely strayed away from a 'dyno' post.
