Friends supercharged \'93 Cobra

Friend dynoed his '93 Cobra that just got a T trim Vortec and meth injection. The rest of the combo consists of the stock 302, Motorsport E-cam, stock 1.7 rockers, out of the box TFS Twisted Wedge heads, the stock cobra intake, upgraded injectors, shorty headers, Flowmasters, 2.5" exhaust, a chip out of a GT, and a few other bells and whistles.

Initial pull was 439hp at the wheels. Final pull was 452hp and torque was about 415 (forgot exact #). Also picked up 20hp down low. Peaked out at 6,000rpm. This is with 10lbs of boost and pump gas.

The guy at the shop felt that the motor would have continued to pull and made more power if the ignition was upgraded (stock now). I feel that it could also be a sign of valve float. Friend doesn't want to make more power (afraid of breaking stuff at the current power level) so we will never know what it could make with a good ignition.

Bad news is that it seems to have blow a head gasket. Most likely on the initial pull which showed it was lean at low rpm. No white smoke. Just coolant loss and it is going into the oil. Oil pressure good and still runs real hard so I'm sure it's not the dreaded cracked block. At least not yet.

New numbers with the MSD ignition and new valve springs are 459.2 hp at 6,000 rpm. Torque picked up about ten as well. Shut down the pull at 6k where it was still climbing. Would have made more with a higher pull.
