My New 393 Stroker Motor

This is some dyno results of my new stroker engine. Was pretty rapt in the power it made. Feel free to comment.

You would be happy with that Crock. Which setup did you end up running, the 1" or 2" spacer?
Got any more info, like compression ratio, cam specs, fuel type etc you would like to share?

I think the 1" spacer setup is a better run on the dyno. Might be a couple of hp down but a safer run and more torque. The first setup was running a touch lean. Dont know what the cam specs are as i cant get them. Engine builder wont give them out.

Re: My New 393 Stroker Motor

Would i get any gain by running a 1050 dominator carby over my 950 ultra that is on it now. I was told by someone not sure now. I think it was patterson carbys that i would get more power by running the same careby but with a 1.75 venturi size. I lost the email that was sent to me.

Re: My New 393 Stroker Motor

The carb you have is called a 950, BUT it really is only a 750 with an 850 throttle plates. A real 850 or larger( like a Demon 850 is quite a bit larger in real airflow. Ther might be 15 more HP with a bigger carb. What intake manifold do you have ??
