I will post a pic of the dyno sheet tomorrow night, I forgot it at work, but here is the low down:
460 bored .060, stock crank, rods, heavy federal mogul 9:1 pistons.
Balanced internals, Isky mega cam (customer had the cam)280 adv. dur., 232 @.050 with .566 lift on a 108 lobe center.
Heads were mildly ported by me, $400.00 worth to be exact. Intake is the Weiand Stealth dual plane, and on top was a 1/2" open wood spacer and a box stock 950HP carb. We also used Comps beehive springs (#91. Stock valve sizes were used as well.
This was a jet boat engine, very mild pump gas low maintanance low budget build. Headers were Bassett boat headers.
Engine made 440HP at 5700rpm and 483ft.lbs. of torque at 4200rpm.
Not bad considering the cost in it vs. power.
Just thought I'd share this...it was kind of neat seeing what could be had for very little $$$.
