Back from the dyno with the 347

Just got back from the dyno last night with testing my son's 347 and we were quite satisfied with the results.
561rwhp/530TQ @5400. Car has a D1SC with 10lbs boost.

Re: Back from the dyno with the 347

Those are great numbers... Does that mean more then 600 Flywheel power?

That is some block splitting power, hope you have an aftermarket block.

Re: Back from the dyno with the 347

For safety, wrap a chain around the block a couple of times.... The block is sure to rip in half.

Re: Back from the dyno with the 347

Which stock block are we talking about? Early block, Mexican block, stock hipo 289, old boss? I'd really have my fingers crossed if it's a late roller block. For some they last and some they don't. Hope yours lasts a long time.

What are you using for head gaskets? Got a buddy who's having head gasket trouble on a 302 with 10 lbs. of boost. Maybe you've got some advice I can pass along?
