Re: stock 390 block HP capacity?

If you have a choice I would start out with the 428 block..The more cubes the better for a heavy car like a galaxie..Get a shop that is familiar with building an FEs so they can do the bottom end correctly and get the oiling right...When I was a teenager I used to have a pile of FE blocks with holes in the sides of them!
