342ci Stroker with Non lockup AOD chassis dyno

Here is my 342 stroker dyno results. Being that it is an AOD car I was very pleased with the results. Jay Allen was a big help with this combo. Before I went with his cam and ideas for the combo I could never get this above 330rwhp N/A.
First run was without nitrous second was with a 175 shot running pig rich.

Here is the engine combo:
342ci, 3.40 CRANK, 5.4 RODS. STANDARD BORE.
FORGED SCAT ROTATING ASSEMBLY & FORGED PROBE FLAT TOP PISTONS FOR TFS HEADS.
10:3:1 COMPRESSION.
NITROUS OXIDE SUPER POWER SHOT SET AT 175HP.
JAY ALLEN CAMSHAFT INNOVATION’S TLSR SOLID ROLLER CAM.
600ISH & 240ISH DUR. @.050 INTAKE, EXHAUST LIFT 580ISH & 260ISH DUR. @ .050
CROWER EXTREME DUTY PIN OILING LIFTERS.
OOTB VICTOR JR INTAKE.
TOTAL ENGINE AIRFLOW TRICK FLOW TWISTED WEDGE HEADS, FULLY CNC PORTED. SET UP WITH JAYS SPRINGS
205cc INTAKE RUNNERS 60cc COMBUSTION CHAMBERS. 2.02 INTAKE VALVES 1.60 EXHAUST VALVES.
COMP CAMS PRO MANGNUM 1.6 ROLLER ROCKER ARMS, MANLEY PUSHRODS.
PRO-SYSTEMS HOLLEY 950HP CUSTOM CARBURATOR
JET HOT COATED HOOKER 1 5/8” HEADERS 3INCH DR. GAS X PIPE ALL MANDREL BENT WITH HOOKER MAX FLOW MUFFLERS DUMPED AT REAR AXLE.
BUILT AOD TRANS WITH 3200 STALL. THE STALL IS WAY TO TIGHT PER JAYS CAM CARD BUT WORKS OK FOR THE STREET RIGHT NOW.

Very nice looking ride! What kind of wheels are those and what size/backspace are you running on the rear?

Congrats! 371 RWHP is very healthy especially considering the AOD. Then with the nitrous, good luck holding that thing on the road!
It's always good to see guys making that kind of power with AOD's! What rear gear are you running with it?
Also, I couldn't help but notice the spike in the TQ curve between 5500 and 6000 rpm on the first dyno sheet. And then I see a dip in both the HP and TQ curve between 5000 and 5500 rpm on the nitrous run. Any idea why that is?

Thanks. Yeah for a power eating AOD I was very happy with the numbers. There are tons of guys with 331s and 347s running manual trans that don't make that much. The rear end is a 9inch with 4.11 posi. I am not sure what that spike is on the N/A run but on the Nitrous run that dip is when the nitrous shot kicked on.

Your car is pretty awesome too. I have read most of your post on your dyno runs. I really want to run down the 1/4 mile. This is what will really show me how it is running. But I built it mainly for a fun toy and man is it ever. Good luck with yours.

Anyway the wheels are custom one off Weld Wheels. The rear I am running a 17x9.5 with a 315/35 Nitto 555r. In the pic above though it was when I had my 275/40s in the rear. Now it looks way better with the huge tire under there. The rears have 6.375 backspacing. It is very tight and this is the biggest tire I could get at this ride height.

The front is a 17x8 with Michelin pilot sports 235/40/17. They have 5.375 backspacing. No rubbing.

I idles at 900rpm with a good lopy chop and is not super loud until you step on it. It has a high pitch sound when you get on it from the X pipe setup. And I love the Hooker Max flow mufflers.

Thanks! I would like to run down the 1/4 mile as well, but there isn't one anywhere close by. I can drive a few hours out into the country to an 1/8 mile track, so I just might go give it a try one day. I'm hoping to get mine fired up and tuned on the dyno this week with the new cam and carb. Then I can finally get back out there and terrorize my neighbors some more! I'm guessing that yours shakes the ground a bit as well, especially with those mufflers and dumped 3" exhaust!

It would be interesting to see what kind of times yours could run with and without the nitrous. I'm sure it is a blast to drive on the street and it looks like it could be a show car as well! Now the trick is keeping it that clean!
Good luck!

Absolutely beautiful car!! Those wheels look awesome!

I like the engine combo too. You're gonna have your hands full at the track even without the nitrous. Since you have never had it at the track I would be sure to have it dialed in pretty darn good before you try out the nitrous.
Keep us updated on any dragstrip runs!

Table flat torque and beautiful hp curve all the way to 7,000 rpm. Looks real nice. How much tuning did you do?

What block? The power on the nitrous hit would have me worried in a stock block! Do not go to the track without slicks even off the nitrous. LOL
