I believe i run pig rich at WOT, that's why it's running worse than the 570 at WOT but I bought a LM-1 a month ago to verify. it should arrive tomorrow. can't wait.
Otherwise when I save a bit of money (3 months), I'll probably go and buy a Demon :-)

You'll love tuning with the wideband. I have one and tuned my Eddie 600. I thought it was running really rich at cruise, then I stuck my wideband on and found out it was 16-17:1. Super lean. It was so lean, the exhaust stunk like it was rich! It's pretty simple to use the wideband to tune the primary step, the step up springs, the power step, then the primary and secondary jets! I bought the tuning kit and some additional needles and jets. Also, there's a spreadsheet someone did that you can google that shows the orfice diameter for all the combinations of rods and jets. VERY HANDY!!!!

Has anyone got real HP/TQ numbers for such an engine? edelbrock advertises 367HP, my engine builder thinks thats a bit unrealistic and I don't believe it either.
Desktop Dyno confirms the 350. Anyone any experience with that combination? ever dynoed one?
gearbox is T5 and backed by a 3.5:1 ratio 9" track loc

It should. I have a similar setup. It made 330 Hp/330TRQ with smaller valves and cam.

306 ci
Scat rotating w/KB pistons
Comp XE262 cam 218/224 .492/.500 -- Flat tappet
Edel RPM intake
Edel 1406 600cfm carb
scorpion 1.6:1 roller rockers
Brodix 5.0ST heads 1.94/1.60 valves (similar to AFR 165 heads)
MSD 6al

I wish it had the XE274 cam. It would have easlily picked up 30Hp and still be very streetable. I purchased this off craigs list. The engine dyno was the best money spent. We made 25 pulls over 2 days and worked all kinds of bugs out. I say go with the top end kit and dyno before you put in the car.

Re: anyone real numbers for 302 with edl top end kit

This 300hp/330tq was at the engine or the rear wheels?? I'm going to assume you mean at the crank. The dyno is a good tool to show how much hp you might be making, but taking it to the track will show you how much hp your engine is really making. Bottom line, don't tune your engine based on the dyno, tune it for the track, you don't race dynoes.

My 347 has the XE284H cam and most likely makes 280-290rwhp. Took it to the track and ran a 14.01 @103mph with the timing locked out at 24 degrees and 3.55 gears. Probably at least another 30hp in it if my engine was timed at 34 degees like it is now.

Re: anyone real numbers for 302 with edl top end kit

367 h.p. is plenty for mid 11s with proper suspension/clutch setup if those claims are true everybody would be running the combo. 367 hp from a 302 requires the absolute perfect combo not much torque from small displacement motors so must rely on rpm I guess around 7000 rpm good luck
