Engine Swap: 5.0 into 56 Fairlane
I want to install an 85 5.0 roller motor with C4 or C6 into my 56 Fairlane that has a 312 and automatic. Are there any commercial motor/transmission mounts available, what are other problems? Please E-mail me at dash@sisna.com. Thanx, Dale

Engine Swap: 5.0 into 56 Fairlane
If you cannot find a true bolt-on mount bracket for this swap, check with Speedway Motors. They have universal engine and trans mount cross members for SBF and C4/AOD. Essentially, the cross members are tubular steel with the appropriate engine/trans brackets. The crossmembers are cut-to-length and also include end brackets for frame rail fastening.
