427 Fairlane
I'm looking for the average 1/4 mile time for a stock 66-67 427 Fairlane. Now for the hard part what were the bolt on mods done for these car to improve these times. I'm not talking blowers, N2O, or turbos. Just intakes, headers, cams, ect... [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]

I'd check out Woody's Fairlane site. Has a lot of info on the 66/67 Fairlanes with the 427, including all of the original cam and head specs with part #s.

427 Fairlane
I have two original 66 427 Fairlanes. One ran 11.42 in the sixties. (I have the NHRA certificate that shows the time).
A good friend in Texas, Bob Sharp, ran his 427 Fairlane at 10.69, which for a while held the record.
The original owner of my car said that he usually ran in the 11's or 12's.
