ATTN FAIRLANE BB OWNERS..

Rick
I am surprised you haven't seen the guys at McCoy Brothers. Back in the early 80's, I had them build me a set of coils for the 67 blower Vette we built. They worked like a hot-damn. If that fails, find someone local who deals with AFCO. They have spring for EVERY application you can think of.
BTW, what wait have you on the front wheels? Recommended rates are:
200 lb spring 600-800lb on wheels
250lb 800-1000lb on wheel
275 1000-1100
300 1100-1200
350 1200-1500
400 1500-1800
450 1800-2000
500 2000-2300
550 2300-2500
650 2500 and up

Hope that helps a bit. ok, now I go for a beer.
Fred

p.s. You have a buddy in Edmonton who does trannies? My wifes nephew just called and the transmission is going out of his pick-up (slipping bad). Its a Chevy but the kid is ok and a licensed electrician (we believe in the barter system )

Sorry, I thought you were in Edmonton. Sh*t! So, Friday, you had to shovel snow then!

Yeah, McCoy Bros are in Edmonton but they may have a branch in Calgary. And, as I said try AFCO or Aldan. They are super dragracer friendly and if need be, I can order in for you pretty cheap!

As to the tranny, poor kid just got back to work after doing 10 months of school, been riding his motorbike and now , with winter coming, his tranny is slipping pretty good. if worse comes to worse, I may toss 2 in the back of the truck and take them to him and install 1. Nice thing is GM trannies take 2.4 hours to re & re (with proper tools)

You should try to get out here for the Goodtimes Cruise.
