will installing disc brakes make the front any wider??? What other spindles will bolt in other than the granada?? Has anyone here done the swap and what did you use?

I used the Granada set-up. I don't know if it is any wider. If it is, it ain't by much. What's your current measurement hub-to-hub? I can check mine to see if there is a difference.
I can tell you that my 225/70/R14 scrub on hard, slow turns. Very minimal clearance to the edge of the fender in front. That might be due to the 351C weight more than the Granada disc width, though. Of course mine is a 65, but the suspension is the same.

The Maverick and Comet disc brakes from around 74 till end of production will work. Also, disc brakes from 69-70 Mustang should work. Not sure about 71-73 Mustangs but would bet they will.

Since inner tie rods are scarce and pricey for out model cars, I reamed the draglink to fit the inner tie rods from a Granada. They appear to match up okay at this time but, I am not even close to driving the car or installing the engine. I did have to cut both tie rods approximately 1/2" and the adjusting sleeves about 1/4" each end to get some adjustability.
