Who has used their hoods? Has anybody had any problems with them? Is the quality good? Anything else you could tell me about them I would appreciate it.

I have used the glass parts from them for years now.

The Galaxies got their hood on it and the Falcons got hood, fenders, trunklid and bumpers from them.

All good stuff.

probably half the weight of a steel hood....maybe 60-65%less than the steel hood.

Their fiberglass parts aren't considered light weight.

the 427 hood is most likely patterned off of original mold, and therefore fits as you stated... i have one from orig mold i bought from vindicator 20yrs ago, w/ the same issues... no big whoop... a little adjustment here and there....
