Are 66/67 Fairlane hoods interchangable with 66/67 Comets?

Are 66/67 Fairlane hoods interchangable with 66/67 Comets? I was looking at a fiberglass hood designed to fit a 1966 or 1967 Fairlane and was wondering if it would fit my 1966 Comet. The Fairlanes and Comets look almost identical, but wasn't sure if the hood actually would fit okay.

It will physically bolt on, and latch.
But I dont know how well the lines will line up together. Both have a little different style.
BTW, is that Comet you got, the one that was for sale in Adelanto a few months back?

No, it was not the one in Adelanto. Close, though, it was in Hesperia.

No they will not. The comet nose is longer. I saw a Fairlane once with the Comet hood, but they cut it apart and shortened it.
