Are 69 Fairlanes rare?

Hi i just joined and glad to see other fairlane lovers! [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] im a 21 year old student from L.A. and own a 1969 ford fairlane coupe hardtop. not a cobra or anything, just the good ol regular fairlane. its got a 302 and a rebuilt c4. the thing is i usually see stuff about 68's and up. like 66's and 67's. but never any 69's anywhere. are they rare or something? mine is in fair shape. i've done the disc brakes for the front, and rebuilt the c4. the engine and rear are tired. the body is pretty damn good shape, and would look awesome with a new paint job. it has dual flowmasters and sounds awesome. people always sit and stare trying to see what the hell that is im driving! Welcome, actually 69 are more common then 68's. If you go to the add your car section, and check out Fairlane/Torino section, there more 69's then 68's. I have 2 68's [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] A Fairlane 500 Fastback, and a 68 Torino Coupe. The coupe is for parts now. Talk again.

its nice to see how many fairlanes are out there.. i have never seen one around here untill a year ago, then i got my 68 fastback... things are going good on mine, intensity is slowing a little.. but its nice to see another one out there!

yea i used to have a 67 6 cyl mustang.. got soo sick of it. but this car is differnt. i love it so much! [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]

right now its silver with a black hood. any suggestions on what color i should get it painted? i was thinking sahara beige! any suggestions would help [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] thnhx guys
