1967 Fairlane engine swap

My Fairlane was a 289 car, the engine was gone when i bought it. Do i need to change the original motor mounts to drop in a 351c? also, does anyone know the length of the stock driveline in the 67s. thanks

You can use the same motor mounts, but I would suggest putting in new motor mounts as the old ones have probably had it.

By driveline ,I assume you mean the length of the drive shaft? It depends if you have a manual or auto trans.

Contact ckelly. He put a 351C in a '67 Falcon. The Falcon and Fairlane used the same unibody in '66 and '67.

His website is:

I'm sure he would be happy to answer your questions.
