Brian... Edelbrock Alum. heads?.......

Brian I e mailed Edelbrock TWO years ago when they were making heads for old Pont./Chrys./FE Fords and asked when they were going to make 351 Cleveland heads and he e mailed me back and said they werent in production long enough to warrant making them !!! I figured that they would fit 289-302 Windsor with a Boss 302 intake or they could make an intake , they would fit 351 windsor also with an intake like a motorsport or one of the Edelbrocks they make for Winston cup and they would fit 351 CLEVELANDS !!!! and even a stock Boss 302 or Boss 351 ........ and I still hope they will make them ,cuase Ill take TWO sets of them to start !!!....I seem to remember reading or hearing the same thing you did ....maybe we all need to E-Mail Edelbrock and ask them to step on it !!! .........I mean they even make alum. heads for 429-460 ................[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Yeah, but they made 429'460 engines for 30 years & the aftermarket is thirsty for them. I have a friend that's a Clevelamd freak & he wonders the same thing, I myself was suprised to see FE heads. Seems like everyone is going to pass the on the Clevelands

Qtrmiler ... I haven't in all my 45 years, seen a company that wasn't Chevy biased. Bad thing is most of us Ford people wouldn't have minded paying a LOT extra some time back for a quality part, we had to make them. At least it's getting better [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

On the 335 Forum, someone received an e-mail reply from Ebrock that they should be available by the end of this year. Beyond that, it's speculation.

Qtrmiler... Brian....your right ...I being Ford in my blood would pay the price ...but hopefully the heads would run the same range as the others...but who knows ?????...there are some nice alum. heads out of AUS. that do use the stock int. and exh. locations but cost like $2,000.00 a set and the motorsports dont realy use stock locals ...and the Brodix heads are even more $$$$ ....Iguess I thought that Edelbrock could If! they wanted to make them theyd be around the price of the ones they have now....Boy am I dreaming !!!!....well hope the end of the year comes Fast Brian so we can ever Buy or Cry !!!!!.......the website for those other alum. heads is www.pim.net they got a lot of Cleveland stuff ...................................[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
